- Believe. Belong. Become.

The family of faith known as Our Savior's Lutheran Church has a rich history starting way back in 1871.

The first location was on Bay Street here in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  That building burned down during the Great Oshkosh Fire of 1875 and was rebuilt, giving us the first and second known homes for Our Savior's.  The property was sold in 1899 to make way for the third home for Our Savior's on Jefferson Street.  The property was dedicated on November 12, 1899 and sold in 1960.

Just 50 families decided in 1959 to purchase an "edge of town" piece of land on the corner of Gruenwald Street and Wisconsin Street.  Ground breaking was in May and dedication was on November 19, 1961.  The first new education addition was dedicated in 1965 (now Peter Pan Nursery School), with a second education addition being added in 1971 (now our fellowship hall). The addition of a new sanctuary was built and dedicated in 1995 in response to congregation growth, switching the main entrance to the church from Gruenwald Street to Wisconsin Street.

Our Savior's is an active member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) www.elca.org.
